90's Discontinued Products

Welcome back to my BLOG! Todays topic is definitely one of my favorite topics to talk about. The Best Food of the 90s/00s that either sadly left this earth too early or  the ones that are still around to this DAY but should just give it a rest 🤭! Hopefully this unlocks a memory or two ! IMO somethings might have "come back in style" or have been "remade" but nothing is like the Original! These items really were a staple FOOD in my OPINION .

1.) Heinz EZ Squirt 

I absolutely had to start at my favorite long lost item ! The Heinz EZ Squirt was simply the best invention EVER , release in July 2000. I still can't understand why they took it away from us 😫💔 It has an easy squeeze bottle & it came in 4 different colors !!! LIKE HELLO? is this not the coolest thing you've ever heard of !! If you never experienced it , it was just regular Heinz ketchup with food coloring 🤤 Research says that they got discontinued in 2006 because sales slowed down , but I can't understand why ?? According to the sales when it was first released it had Heinz up 60% in SALES!!! well this weird scenario caused us a really cool condiment 😥

2.) Pokemon Character Chewing Gum 

Released in 1999 ;The ultimate chewing gum . The flavor lasted about 5 minutes which was a total downer ! BUT I remember how exciting it was opening these babies up & seeing how many you'd get ! Of course these became rare collectibles & the goal was to collect all 151 (at the time of this that's all the Pokemon they had 😨) Pokemon! Each pack came with about 20 I believe ? Each piece of gum had a different character on it & so did the outer packaging ! you could honestly collect so many of them ! I guess thats what kept them exciting? Sadly we lost this amazing chewing gum, sales died & eventually these got taken off the shelf. Now you can find these reselling on eBay for crazy prices 🤮

3.) SQUEEZE ITS

Yeah koolaid is the STAPLE kids drink BUT hear me out ! this was the coolest drink EVER! technically these were released in the mid 1980's but really took off in the 90s ! They had tons of flavors to choose from , my favorite was the changing colored tablets ! Im sure this gave parents the worse ideas plus im sure a kid or two misused this in some way 🙄 Because of this brand Koolaid really up'd their game ! Adding these babies to the "90s Discontinued Favorites" for sure !

4.) Kid Cuisine 

like I mentioned there'd be those few that still exist yet just aren't the same anymore , Exhibit A ! Kid Cuisine released in 1990 was a Childs dream for microwavable food 😫 I too was infatuated with the cute vibrant colored box & the special edition characters ! It was extremely weird having to heat up my pudding 😖 The brownie ALWAYS tasted off , but the macaroni seriously slapped. Kid cuisine is still found in your local grocery store. You sadly won't find your favorite nostalgic characters but you might get some random flashbacks from eating your microwavable pudding 🤓

5.) Nestle Wonderball 

Released in April 2000 , & surprisingly made a comeback . Say what you want about this candy but it taste like ass to me 🤭 It is probably the cutest candy Ive ever seen but its taste simply doesn't measure up to the appearance. They definitely had me fooled with all the different characters they had. You can definitely find these in your grocery check out line or gas station. Don't say I didn't warn you 😏

Hope this brought back come some killer memories for you or got you to do some research on foods you never got to experience. Heres just a few of my favorite & not so favorites of the 90s/00s.
